Clip on comes with a metal clip and no plug. Plug attaches the tail to a metal or silicone plug. Detachable lets you swap tails on one plug in seconds.

Remove plugs by the base, never by the tail. Brush gently, spot-clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, and store it flat or hung from the plug end, away from pets.
